Overview

Come and join us for a bit of country, located in the foothills of the Cascade Mt. Range, about 30 miles outside of Portland Oregon. MoonRidge Farms is offering cozy accommodations in a quiet country setting.

This renovated 1901 farmhouse offers the charm of a traditional farmhouse located on 40 acres. This country setting includes old growth forests, with walking trails, year round stream, open meadows with hawks during the day, owls in the night, fields of blueberries, small orchard and a large garden areas. The house includes a fenced back yard with views of the gardens, blueberry fields, rose garden and our family hens! Yes, we do have a rooster.

This 1901 charmer has been newly renovated with an open living /dining area with gas fireplace and views of the grounds, lots of birds enjoying the feeders and aspen trees to the north of the house. The house can currently accommodate 6 guests with a queen bed and Daybed with trundle in the upper bedroom and a fold out memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a full bath with tub/shower combo and fully stocked kitchen.

You can enjoy the sunset on the spacious back deck or plan a barbeque on the outdoor patio in the rose garden. The house is fully stocked with linens, towels and basic kitchen items for your convenience. We feature soaps from a local lavender farm, and have decorated the home using repurposed and recycled items offering a clean, warm and comfy stay.

In addition to the walking trails around the meadow and in the woods, you can enjoy a picnic in the grassy fields, or a quiet, meditative walk around the meadow labyrinth. This farm is delightful, rain or shine. This working farm grows organic blueberries, vegetables, yacon products and raises organic goats, rabbits and chickens for meat as well as fresh eggs. We look forward to sharing our life and loves with you and your family!
