Learn how we make maple syrup!
Overview
We are a family-owned facility offering the splendor of Vermont’s Green Mountains as you relax in the quiet comfort and privacy of our well-appointed guesthouse We are conveniently located in Central Vermont on 400 scenic acres in Northfield, home to Norwich University and five covered bridges.
Spend time by the beaver pond bird watching, or in the barn with our Brown Swiss show oxen. The “boys” are very friendly and love visitors. While staying at the guesthouse, we hope you will stop by the barn and get acquainted. If the spirit moves you, we are happy to take you for a ride in our custom-made oxcart through our trails in the woods.
During sugaring season, learn how we make Pure Vermont Gold® maple syrup in our state-of-the art sugarhouse in the woods.
The guesthouse is perfect for short or extended vacations. Here you may explore the outdoors in every season with miles of private trails for walking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing- just out the front door!
To get you started, we stock the guesthouse with ample breakfast fixings for your first morning meal. We invite you to help yourself to fresh veggies from our lush garden in summer, and to complimentary maple syrup from our sugarhouse year round throughout your stay.
