Scores B&B | Farm Stay USAWhile the growing season may be short in Alaska and the soils and climate a challenge for agriculture, the long summer days allows some vegetables to grow to record-breaking sizes.

With only 500 farms in the state, and most of these close to Anchorage, the focus is on milk, eggs and beef, but you can also find reindeer, bison and yak on the menu.

With so few working farms in Alaska, there are also not a huge number of Alaskan farm stays, but regardless the welcome is warm and the experience rewarding.
