Overview
Ratchford Buffalo Farms is located on our old family homestead, established by my family about 75 years ago. We now proudly have 5 generations helping run the farm – from our 94-year-old matriarch to her great, great-grandson.
While staying at our farm, we welcome you to join a completely free of charge guided tour to meet our buffaloes, emus, llamas, pot-bellied pigs, goats, and more! We’ll be on the farm the majority of the time to answer any questions you have.
Stay in one of our log cabins and enjoy a soak in the hot tub. Or, find us with a Harvest Host membership and pull up your RV for a free night’s stay.
We are great for families; we are great for road trippers; we are great for elopements and weddings; just about everyone loves our story, our farm, and our buffalo!
The Kenda Drive-In, one of the last Drive-Ins left in the state, is only 6 miles from the farm. Biking or hiking in the Ozark National Forest and Blanchard Caverns are only an hour away. For floating, fishing, swimming, or a great place to see Arkansas’s only heard of wild elk is the Buffalo National River 20 minutes away. Branson Mo. is only an hour away.

Cedar Buffalo Cabin
Special Instructions: Clean comfortable 2 bed room i bath 640 square foot fully furnished cedar cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Sleeps 6 with sofa hide a bed. All paved road access. Fire pit, hot tub, picnic tables and a big yard for the kids to play and back deck that over looks the buffalo farm

Lofted Cabin
Special Instructions: Amish made cabin that we finished ourselves with cedar and oak lumber. The lower floor is 384 sq. ft. with a hide- a -bed in the sofa. With a 100 sq. foot loaf on each end. Loft # 1 has 2 single beds . Loft #2 has a full size bed. Full kitchen with washer and dryer. The front yard has two picnic tables setting under a 100 year old Oak tree. One bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Enjoy a grill, fire pit, hot tub and patio.

Cabin with a Tree House
Special Instructions: Clean, comfortable 616 sq. ft. 2 bedroom cabin with queen beds, 1.5 bathroom, sofa bed in the living area, jetted whirlpool bathtub, large, high tree house style back deck that goes 50 ft. back into the trees overlooking the property. Perfect for watching wildlife or just relaxing with your morning coffee. Picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill, hot tub, big yard for the kids and pets, washer and dryer. Fully furnished kitchen.
