Rooterville Animal Sanctuary

Step back in time to simpler days, unplug and relax in a 20-acre private paradise for rescued farm animals and nature called Rooterville Animal Sanctuary.  Enjoy beautiful scenery, a pond with ducks and occasional bald eagles, a magnificent forest, lush pastures and spectacular butterfly garden.  It is a magical place and an experience you will treasure for a lifetime.

Enjoy peace and privacy, tucked away with a forest behind you and a spacious field with a pond in front. Our covered wagons are first-class, totally unique and luxurious in every way.  They are perfect for a romantic getaway or a friends/family adventure.  The wagons are roomy with central heat/air, a big shower, wagon wheel glass top table with two chairs and a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, electric fireplace and coffee pot!  We provide a snack basket with a variety of snacks, cold bottled water and coffee pods for your enjoyment.  All personal care products are provided including toothbrushes so grab a change of clothes and come on out for a stay.

We also have 3-RV spots with full hookups and 4 campsites for tents or RV boondocking where you’ll be right in the middle of it all!  Travel trailers, Fifth wheels, Toy haulers, Pop-up campers, Class A RVs, Class B RVs, Class C RVs, Campervans, and Cars allowed. We have plenty of room for trailers and bigger rigs.

We have yard games, cute tic tac toe, a picnic area, fire pit, chaise lounges and more for you to enjoy including a playground area for the kids.  Board games are available, just ask.Our guests have full access to the farm and the animals except the cow and horse pastures, there is an up-charge for an experience with them as you’ll need a staff person to keep you safe with the animals.  Cow Cuddles are only $95 for 30 min and we have a Highland calf.  You’ll get amazing pictures petting the animals and feeding them snacks which you are welcome to bring along or purchase in our gift shop.
