Mid-Atlantic
The Mid-Atlantic region encompasses Delaware, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Here you will find iconic farmhouses built in the early 19th century, contemporary homes utilizing alternative energy, and everything — on or off the grid — in between.
New York and New Jersey farms often have maple sugaring in spring or apple cider pressing in fall. In Pennsylvania, if our farmers aren’t Amish, it’s a sure bet they have neighbors who are and often you can work out a visit. Maryland, Virginia and the areas around D.C. offers horse country and farms that are expanding into wine production.
Not far from many of the eastern seaboard’s larger urban centers, enjoy a Mid-Atlantic farm vacation you will remember long after returning from the countryside.
