Pacific
This region encompasses California and Hawaii. California could be a region unto itself with distinctive characteristics north to south. Hawaii really only has one season – warm and beautiful!
Farm stays in Hawaii are verdant, with fruits and vegetable crops throughout the year. It is not unusual to find bananas and papaya ripe for the picking right out the back door. Of course this is also the land of coffee plantations.
California is 840 miles from north to south and thus offers a huge diversity in its landscapes, growing climates, and demographics. From the farms in the southern part of California that boast citrus and stone fruits to the ranches in the north of the state with open vistas for riding, you can find just about anything, usually with sunny weather.
There are many farms to stay on in the Pacific region and the choice is yours, depending on the experience you want both in lodging and activities.
