Overview

Flint Hill Farm Educational Center, Inc. is a 26-acre traditional multifacited farm and working goat and cow dairy located in beautiful Lehigh County, PA. dating to the 1850’s.

The dairy produces exceptional milk, artisan cheese and yogurt from our Jersey cow and Alpine goat herd. These products are available for purchase through our on-site farm store and are featured as part of our morning breakfast offerings.

Flint Hill Farm AG offers over night accommodations for one or more nights in our 3 distinct bedroom suites. “Being a farmer for a day” is an option of hands-on AM or PM shifts working along with our staff to collect and wash chicken and duck eggs, feed and water the ponies and horses, feed and milk the goats (early AM and 3:30PM) and observe cow milking (early AM and 4PM) .

The original part of the house and bank barn are beautifully constructed of hand hewn beams and wood floors. A large wrap around porch offers a great place to enjoy relaxing in a rocking chair with your AM coffee. The working farm offers 5 acres of wooded paths with a self-guided woods walk; trails for leisurely family adventures; pastures full of native wild flowers, butterflies and other natural pollinators, a greenhouse full of yummy vegetables, horseback riding lessons (scheduled prior to the visit), cheese making classes, knitting classes, a blacksmith shop and a variety of seasonal educational opportunities.

The recognition of Agro-tourism within the broader definition of PA. agriculture has encouraged farms to open their doors to the public. In a effort to bridge the gap between the urban and suburban community and farming community, the state of Pennsylvania has provided a way for farmers to share their culture on a more personal level.
