Wake to the sounds of the Majestic Ozark mountains ... see the animals grazing in the fields just outside your bedroom windows or on the deck overlooking the rolling hills behind the cottage, enjoy the day relaxing, hiking, or any of a number of other activities. Finish out your evening on the deck being able to see the stars without city lights dimming their beautiful glow.
This is a hands on experience opportunity. Join the owners for morning chores, milking, harvesting fodder, gathering eggs, feeding the animals, and checking in on the babies as they arrive. Animals on the farm include: cows, horses, lemur, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens and ducks and of course dogs and cats. Several demonstrations and classes based on availability in season: Fiber Demonstrations, Cooking, Cheese making, Gluten Free Cooking, etc.
The beautiful 3 bedroom cottage located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area that seats 8 people and has 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a private bath and views on three sides.
There are two additional guest rooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. The living room is cozy and is equipped with family games, TV w/DVD/VCR. There is a queen sleeper in the living room.Central heat and air provide comfort year round.
