East Hill Farm

Troy, New Hampshire

Where traditions begin!

Overview

Located at the base of Mount Monadnock in the tranquil southwestern corner of New Hampshire, the Inn at East Hill Farm maintains its tradition as a destination resort where families and friends can meet in a relaxed atmosphere that promotes true re-creation. Rooms are available in the main building or in any of several modern and well-appointed cottages.

No matter what the season, there is always something to do at the farm: swimming indoors or outdoors, boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, hay or sleigh rides, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating. And when vigorous activity is not on your agenda, there are plenty of comfortable and inviting spaces for reading a good book or having a quiet conversation.

Wholesome and delicious meals are home-cooked and served family style. Specialties include homemade breads, cookies, fritters and hearty country breakfasts. Special diets are accommodated with advanced notice. Youngsters may enjoy the adventure of collecting the eggs they eat for breakfast. Activities are planned specifically for children, as well: crafts, campfires, and games among them. You'll also have a chance to milk a cow and to help feed the farm animals.

East Hill Farm School provides middle and high school students, grades 5-12, with a meaningful, hands on experience. Students, will learn life long skills related to animal husbandry, sustainability, and farm-to-table concepts throughout their stay. School groups will be able to visit the farm for a 3 day, 2 night full immersion experience to complete necessary farm chores and attend workshops, all while having fun and furthering their academic success.
