Leaping Lamb Farm

Alsea, Oregon

Watch our lambs a leapin'!

Overview

Leaping Lamb Farm is located in a quiet creek valley of the Coast Range, Oregon, 40 miles from the ocean and 25 miles from the university town of Corvallis.

Our small family farm was originally homesteaded in 1862. We raise sheep and hay, and have an abundance of other domesticated animals (chickens, turkeys, ducks, horse, donkey, peacock, dog, cats) and wildlife on the property.

You are invited to assist in feedings and egg collection and to partake in any of our farming chores in which you have interest. Or not! The farm is a retreat from city life. We can promise country quiet (with a lazy rooster alarm clock), trails for hiking, the gentle Honey Grove Creek running through our property, and lots of room to roam.

For lodging we offer our 1895 6-bedroom 3-bath farm house with its private back deck facing over the 1930s barn and century old apple orchard. The farm house has a full kitchen, has large rooms to gather inside, and is stocked with breakfast ingredients. The houses are rented as a whole unit, not by the room.
