Cypress Crossing Farm
Florence, Alabama 35633
Gather Eggs and Enjoy Nature!
Overview
We have a 60 acre farm on the beautiful Cypress Creek, located a few miles north of Florence, Alabama. We live on the farm and also have a small 100+ year old cottage for guests. The cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house with a full kitchen and plenty of space for a family of 4. We have 6 horses, dozens of chickens, accessibility to the creek for camping and kayaking, and amazing views to enjoy. We offer pony rides, campfire packages, hiking, egg collecting, and flower/vegetable harvesting (depending on what’s in season.) Though there are plenty of shopping and dining experiences within a few miles, guests staying at Cypress Crossing can escape their hectic daily lives for an authentic farm experience. The best of both worlds!
Cypress Crossing is located only a few miles from downtown Florence, with a long list of things to see and do, including a visit to the University of North Alabama. We are also only minutes away from Muscle Shoals, AL, which is home to the historic Fame Studios, Muscle Shoals Sound, and a host of other recording studios. Known as the Hit Recording Capital of the World in the 1960s and beyond, Muscle Shoals continues to host musicians from far and wide. Also located within the Shoals Area are a host of historic sites, such as The Helen Keller Birthplace, WC Handy Home, the historic Forks of Cypress ruins, the Rosenbaum House, and many more. The area hosts a multitude of fun events, including the WC Handy Music Festival, The Helen Keller Festival, Arts Alive , Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride, and many more.
