Celtic Glen Heritage Livestock

Celtic Glen is a working, family farm of heritage breed livestock, nestled in an old limestone quarry on the banks of the White River.

We offer a variety of  lodging, from a mini log cabin to campsites throughout the farm. We love to show people what we do but please be aware this is a working farm with lots of livestock, electric fences, and working dogs, so guests must be accompanied by someone from the farm if you wish a closer look. As is true of most farm stays  with lots of farming activity, and even more so due to our proximity to quarry ruins, an operative railroad track, and the river (not suitable for swimming), we ask that children under 18 be accompanied by an adult at all times.

To make your camping experience more memorable, we offer such things as personal grills, solar shower bags, cots, prepared foods from the farm shop, firewood, charcoal, and more. As for location, we are across the river from McCormick's Creek State Park (Indiana's first state park) and just two miles north of Spencer, a small town with an excellent brew pub, winery, cafe, and more. We are just 20 minutes from Bloomington and Indiana University and48 miles from Indianapolis Internationall Airport.
