Overview

Farm Stay USA | 4-Star AccreditationCome to the country and enjoy our farm and horses, surrounded by an outdoor recreational paradise and family owned wineries and farms in the South Willamette Valley of Oregon. We offer several options for “Glamping” on our farm.  Enjoy a carefree Farm Stay in our  RV Guest House with all the amenities provided.  Or bring your own RV for a Farm Stay in your own space with WiFi and utility hook up.  And, we have a guest barn available for folks traveling with horses.  We can accommodate horse travelers in our RV Guest house or provide a space to park your RV or living quarters horse trailer for layovers or enjoying area day rides.  We are a small private, family farm, and can only accommodate one family or small friends group at a time for a safe environment and quality experience.

Experience being up close and personal with our horses in the heart of Oregon wine country, easily accessible from major roads and an airport. Immerse yourself in country living, enjoy a morning walk in the pasture, pet the horses, and experience farm life in Oregon. Plenty of opportunities to connect with a horse, help out with barn chores and work in the garden, enjoy the backyard fire pit (fire danger permitting) and s’mores or just sit back and watch the animals and enjoy a good book or a relaxed conversation.

We are minutes from intimate, family-owned Oregon wineries in stunning country settings, offering delicious Oregon Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and other varietals. Our area is home to outstanding local produce farms, specialty farms, hiking, biking, and picnicking. There are many wonderful country-oriented day activities nearby. For horse travelers, there are a number of enjoyable and scenic day rides available in the area.  We are located about two hours south of Portland, OR,  between Corvallis and Eugene, both University towns, rich in cultural and sports activities on a national level.

Our Glamping Farm Stay is a private space in “Fern,” our 28 foot, 2016 travel trailer, parked near our barn and farmhouse with it’s own little yard to enjoy. Fern can comfortably sleep four, has a full kitchen and bath, and water, electrical hook up, and WiFi. Fern is equipped with all the amenities, including kitchenware, appliances, and linens. Gas BBQ is also available. Meals in Fern are all self preparation, although Fern is well stocked with local foods for a great do it yourself breakfast.  Additional local food baskets are available for purchase to give you all the basics for a great home cooked meal and a taste of the Willamette Valley.  Or shop the local farms, minutes away, enjoying the countryside, and purchasing locally grown produce and meat right from the source.

The centerpiece of our Farms Stay is a Horse Connection Experience.  Learn about the horse and human connection, handling and safety, and grooming, all included with your Farm Stay.  Beginning in late summer /fall of 2020, riding lessons and mini trail rides on the farm will be available for an extra charge through our barn, Synergy Stables.

We are located within minutes of over 10 wineries with award winning Oregon wine, beautiful grounds and tasting rooms, weekend music, and more.  Our local wineries are small and family owned, and offer an opportunity for intimate tasting experiences, with guests often greeted by owners and learning of the rich history of wine in the area.  And, Oregon wine flies free on Alaska Airlines from a number of Oregon Airports! You can take wine home with you, along with your memories and pictures.

We also offer a limited number of opportunities for guests to bring their own RV for a Farm Stay. The parking area is near our barn and farmhouse with a small yard area. WiFi, and water and 20-amp electrical hook up are available, along with access to a gas BBQ grill. The bring your own RV Farm Stay includes the horse connection experience, the opportunity to participate in farm chores and work in the garden, as well as a night around the fire pit (fire danger permitting) for s’mores.

For guests traveling with horses, we have stalls available, and we have RV or horse trailer with living quarters parking, including water, electrical hook up, and WiFi.  Limited accommodations are also available in our RV Guest House at special pricing for horse travelers.  The stalls are in our guest barn near the RV parking and are all set up with bedding and fresh water on your arrival, and we clean on your departure day. You provide hay and grain. The stalls include access to our all weather outdoor arena. We can provide you with information on many trails in the local area for great day rides on the flat, in the mountains, or near the beach.

We are a pet household with our own dogs and cats. Well behaved dogs that get along well with people, and other dogs and cats, are welcome on approval, although an extra fee applies. We are a non-smoking property, including our grounds and the guest house. Firearms are not allowed in our guest house. Guests traveling with firearms/weapons must keep them securely locked in their personal vehicle.

We welcome families and small groups of friends to share our rural lifestyle and the beautiful Oregon countryside.
