Hagood Farms and Trails

Welcome to 164 dreamy acres of farmland, forest, waterfalls, streams, and more. If you like the sound of escaping the city life for a little while, getting away from screens, and connecting with nature, this is the place for you. Come wander our hiking trails -- and the horseback riding trails and ATV trails -- and see where they lead you! Our longhorn cattle, miniature donkeys, horses, and friendly goats will want to meet you while you're here. If you'd like to learn about the medicinal properties of the plants on our land, you can book an herbal medicine walk with me during your stay, and I'll show you how to make a tincture if you wish.

We offer a furnished tent with an outdoor shower as well as guest camping at six private campsites on the farm, with room for four people at each campsite. You can choose from campsites set in the woods or out in a more open area for nice stargazing on clear nights. Each campsite has a fire pit with a grill, a picnic table, and access to a composting toilet. Campers and trailers are welcome in addition to tent campers, though we don't offer electrical hookups. Wake up in the morning to the sunrise and the sound of birdsong, and take a cold bath in a waterfall!

We're located just 8 miles from the Meramac River and Washington State Park, where you can go canoeing or kayaking -- there are canoe rental sites along the way. We're also conveniently close to Elephant Rock State Park and the Meramac Caverns, which have incredible stalagmites and stalactites -- an awesome natural attraction to see.
