The moment you step onto the property, you’ll be greeted by an unforgettable lineup of animals who call this ranch home. From the shaggy-haired Scottish Highland cattle and majestic longhorns, to the curious llamas, playful kangaroos, and even bison, each animal has its own personality and story. Our sweet donkeys bray a warm welcome, the chickens add a cheerful soundtrack to mornings, and our sheep and goats wander lazily across the pastures. Guests are encouraged to join in the magic by watching or even helping with animal feedings, creating moments that are as educational as they are heartwarming.

This thriving mix of animals isn’t just scenery—they are family. Many of them are featured in the artwork and décor inside our homes, ensuring that your time with them doesn’t end when you step indoors. Skeet Shooting: For those seeking a little adrenaline, try your hand at skeet shooting, a favorite Texas pastime. Whether you’re a first-timer or seasoned shooter, it’s an exciting way to spend an afternoon.

Fishing: With peaceful waters right on the ranch, cast a line and enjoy the simple pleasure of fishing. It’s a perfect way to slow down, relax. All fishing is catch and release and guests must bring their own gear.

Animal Encounters & Porch Feedings: From bottle-feeding babies & porch feeding the herd to simply scratching the shaggy heads of our Highlands, every interaction is a chance to connect.

Movie Nights: Join us for Movie Nights on the Lodge Deck, where the big Texas sky becomes your backdrop. Relax under the stars with cozy seating and your favorite films while enjoying the ranch atmosphere. Snack packs are available to make your night even sweeter—perfect for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind together.

Day Passes & Events: Not staying overnight? No problem. We welcome day visitors to experience the ranch, and we host private events for birthdays, reunions, and special gatherings under the wide Texas sky.

Three Unique Homes, One Shared Spirit

While the ranch is rich with adventure, your home away from home is equally important. We’ve carefully renovated three distinct houses, each designed to balance modern convenience with rustic Texas charm.

Pixie’s Porch Tiny Home– A cozy retreat with a spacious front porch overlooking serene ranch views. Inside, you’ll find a well-appointed kitchen, dining bar, bedroom with queen bed with smart storage, comfy couch with a full-size pull-out bed and an outdoor shower under the Texas stars. Named in memory of our beloved pup Pixie, this space was crafted with love and comfort in mind.

The Omni Cabin – Perfect for couples or small families, this cabin features a queen bed and pull-out couch, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and multiple charging stations for modern convenience. Outside, you can enjoy the sights of our resident kangaroos, Leo and Thumper, who are friendly, people-loving neighbors. Named in memory of our sweet dog Omni, this place leaves you with the feeling joy and warmth, as she did for us.

The Lodge – Our largest accommodation, the Lodge offers four bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, a fully stocked kitchen, and a laundry room for extended stays. The massive front deck boasts sweeping views of water and nature, while the back features a cowboy pool—perfect for cooling off on warm Texas afternoons. Guests especially love watching the animals gather near the deck during feeding times, making the Lodge an unforgettable gathering spot for families and groups.

We invite you to step into our world, where animals roam free, the stars shine brighter, and every guest becomes “one of the herd.” Whether you’re here for a weekend or a week, the ranch offers a rare mix of relaxation, adventure, and belonging that keeps people coming back year after year.

We are located equal distance from Dallas and Houston, and just an hour from The Woodlands, Texas. We have welcomed guests from throughout the United States and several international guests as well.
