Treehouse with Farmstay
Our treehouse is a lovely place to relax and enjoy for couples wanting a place to get away from it all! We usually enjoy a wonderful breeze that makes sitting on the large deck with wine and cheese a great way to spend the afternoon. Afternoon melts into spectacular sunsets that are great to watch from the hillside or porches. After sunset, you can enjoy stargazing since we are away from most city lights. There's also a small firepit on the deck for s'mores and more. The treehouse is secluded and in the canopy of orange and avocado trees, it's level and sturdy!
We list "no pets" because we have chickens and cats and we'd like to avoid conflicts...but if your pet is mild-mannered and won't chase our chickens, then we're open to it. Please consult with us if bringing pets.
The treehouse is elevated about 9-feet into the canopy of the orange and avocado trees in our orchard. Access come by way of crossing a bridge after going up two short flight of stairs. A tree grows through the center of the deck but the treehouse itself is not attached to any trees. The treehouse is solid and does not sway or move even in heavy winds. The place is charming, playful and full of amenities including a pole to slide down, a basket hoist and many other unique features.
Please note, we have 3 very friendly cats who'll try to spend time with you and come into the bedroom, If you are allergic to cats, this may present an issue.
About 5 minutes away is the city of Fillmore and there's also neighboring Santa Paula. You'll feel like you slipped back in time where small family storefronts and a simple way of life prevails. Some guests explore the area while others spend their entire time in the treehouse or relaxing on the deck, the experience is what you make of it.
