Overview
Sky Fire Ranch is owned by George & Joanne Toms. George is a retired Firefighter-Paramedic, Joanne a nurse. Having tired of the coastal life (read this as TRAFFIC) in Sarasota, FL, we settled on Hardee County. We have Cattle, Chickens, and Bees, and grow Sod, Plants, and Produce. We also partner with other local farms to bring Dairy and Citrus. You can come learn about all of that in one of our seminars. We even have a class on slaughtering and processing your own meat chickens.
There are 9 sites of hard level grass with water and electric, and there is a dump station nearby. There is also room for another dozen boondockers. We have a store on site with all of the products we raise as well as firewood, farm raised, grass fed, grain finished beef.
Remember this is a farm, not a resort, so don't expect a rec hall and a pool; you'll also need to plan on hauling your waste.
