Nestled on a Mendocino Coast hillside, Stanford Inn, sits atop a meadow, embodying the best of the rugged Mendocino Coast and an opportunity to reconnect with nature.
The rambling lobby, guest rooms and suites are paneled in pine and redwood. Every detail is attended to, from wood-burning fireplaces set and ready to light to the sumptuous chef-prepared organic breakfasts.
Inspired by the Stanford’s Certified Organic gardens, The Ravens' Restaurant, featured in Oprah Magazine, is outstanding and nationally acclaimed for its vegan cuisine.
Pets are welcome and have been hosted at the inn for over 30 years.
Besides Gardening and Cooking classes, owners Jeff and Joan Stanford have introduced the Environmental Leadership Field School. Participants in this exciting, varied and rigorous program will receive tools for creative problem solving and gain insight to assist oneself and others to live sustainably, compassionately and with joy. The mission is to provide experiences that mobilize future leaders from different fields to support and enhance the environment, biodiversity, and equitable relationships
